Core Job Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests with a smile, manage phone reservations, and handle inquiries efficiently.
- Seating & Table Management: Efficiently seat guests to optimize seating charts and ensure balanced workloads for servers.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and entrance area.
- Support Roles: Assist servers by clearing, cleaning, or resetting tables, and sanitizing menus.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, friendliness, and a team-player attitude.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move freely for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Experience with reservation software (e.g., OpenTable) or POS systems is preferred.
